UPDATE: Federated Church of Ashland
A representative informed me that The Federated Church itself decided not to remain affiliated with the Methodist Denomination because the cost to remain affiliated was cost prohibitive for a small congregation. Since they are affiliated with the UCC Congregational Church (United Church of Christ) and the American Baptist Church, they would be better stewards of their donations by letting the Methodist affiliation lapse.
