If you get pulled over in Westborough, the officer writing the ticket might just be Miss Massachusetts.
Westborough Police Officer Ashlyn Mercier was crowned Miss Massachusetts on Saturday, June 20 at The Hanover Theatre and will represent the Commonwealth at the Miss America competition this September. Mercier says her experiences in law enforcement and pageantry share more similarities than people might think. Ashlyn grew up in Oxford, Massachusetts, and her father serves as a police officer there.
